Terms of service

These terms apply to the Vayro Android app and related test services. By creating an account or using an invited test build, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Operator and contact

Vayro is a privately operated pre-release service based in Sweden. Questions about these terms can be sent to privacy@ridevayro.com.

Test status

Vayro is unfinished software provided to a limited group for evaluation. Features, map data, accounts, stored test data, and availability may change or be withdrawn. No public release date, uptime level, support level, or continued operation is promised.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept these terms. Access is personal to the invited tester unless Vayro agrees otherwise.

Navigation and riding

Vayro is a navigation aid. Maps, routes, road classifications, restrictions, surface details, arrival estimates, and spoken or visual instructions may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. A suggested road may be closed, restricted, unsafe, unsuitable for a motorcycle, or private.

You remain responsible for the vehicle, route choice, road conditions, traffic laws, signage, weather, and safe operation. Do not interact with the app when doing so would distract from riding. Stop in a safe and lawful place before changing settings or planning a route.

Account security

Provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and notify Vayro if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Do not transfer or share test access without permission.

Location and other riders

Live location sharing is optional and intended only for accepted friends. Do not use Vayro to track, harass, or endanger another person. A displayed position can be stale or inaccurate and must not be relied on for emergency response. Vayro is not an emergency or rescue service.

Your content

You retain any rights you hold in route names, descriptions, and reviews you submit. You grant Vayro a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and test the service according to your visibility choices. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for restricted backup copies and uses required by law.

Only submit content you have the right to use. Do not publish private addresses, another person's location, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person's rights.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or dangerous activity;
• attempt to access another account or non-public system without authorisation;
• interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or impose an unreasonable load;
• upload malicious code or probe the service for vulnerabilities without prior permission; or
• copy, modify, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Third-party services and data

Vayro uses third-party software, infrastructure, sign-in services, and open map data. Their availability and accuracy are outside Vayro's control, and separate provider terms may apply to features you choose to use.

Suspension and ending access

You may stop using Vayro at any time and may request account deletion through the account deletion page. Vayro may suspend or end access to protect the service or other people, address a breach of these terms, comply with law, or end the test. Where practical, notice will be given before access ends.

No warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the test service is provided "as is" and "as available." Vayro does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular route or purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Vayro is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss caused by relying on map, route, traffic, or location information. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, mandatory rights and the courts available under the law of your country of residence are not affected.

Changes

Updated terms will show a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated to testers when reasonably possible. If a change requires consent under applicable law, it will not apply without that consent.
